Whether you are riding the crest of a wave or navigating turbulent waters, South Break Media was formed to provide a reliable, honest and forward-thinking companion to any business, organisation or individual.
South Break Media is a communications company based in the Illawarra on the NSW South Coast.
South Break was formed in 2021 as a partnership between long-time media professional Julian O’Brien and successful Sydney businessman Paul Smith, the founder and chairman of Total Sport + Entertainment and chairman and majority owner of the Sydney Kings and Sydney Flames.
Offering a diverse range of services, South Break gives clients access to decades of experience navigating the Australian media, business and sporting landscapes.
Creative services delivered through our partner, Total Sport & Entertainment:
TSE is an award winning sports marketing and entertainment agency based in Sydney. TSE’s studio acts as the creative arm for SBM which offers our clients access to a team of creative specialists that can bring ideas to life through video, design, photography, animation and more.
By working in partnership with TSE, we ensure a seamless working relationship and process. A truly collaborative approach means our clients get quality results efficiently. Additionally, they get the benefits of working with one team who are aligned instead of trying to manage two separate agencies that don’t communicate.
Our combined experience and skills across both businesses unlocks the opportunity to take a great idea from conception through to execution. This can be seen in some of TSE’s work with a range of leading brands and organisations in Australia including: Gatorade, Foxtel, The Sydney Kings, No Limit Boxing, Fujitsu, The Racing League and many more.
